Susana’s career is defined by over 35 years of dedicated service and advocacy for our communities. She rose through the legal ranks to lead the city attorney offices of Sacramento, Modesto, and Stockton, eventually serving as the President of the International Municipal Lawyers Association. Her commitment to equity is reflected in her work protecting the rights of women on the Attorney General’s Statewide Reproductive Rights Task Force.
