The Leadership Development & Engagement Initiative: An ELLA Program Expansion, is a 5-month program running from June to November 2026.This leadership program is created to help Latinas between the ages of 19-29 learn and gain entry-level leadership and civic engagement skills through a series of professional activities, resources and mentoring. The program consists of:

• Leadership Retreat

• Civic Engagement and Leadership Sessions

• Sessions focused on housing, climate, and transportation issues

• Networking & Community Building

• Community Benefit Project & Graduation

This program requires deep dedication and calls for extensive collaboration, effective time-management, and creativity from participants. The program gives young Latina women opportunities to learn about themselves, their leadership capabilities, and establish a sisterhood through the opportunity to meet and collaborate with other Latinas who have similar interests and experiences.
